Dr. Najam Ul Zia is a Lecturer in Management. He holds a PhD in Economics and Management from Tomas Bata University in Zlin, Czech Republic. Previously, he served as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at LUT University Finland.

Supervision

I currently supervise five PG student's dissertations. The topics connect to social media in business, customer preferences between SMEs, online marketing, digital marketing and customer engagement. 

Research

Najam's broader research interests include innovation, circular economy business models, digital transformation, digital platforms, and industry 4.0. He has published in Journal of Knowledge Management, Industrial Marketing Management, Technology Forecasting and Social Change, Review of Managerial Science, and Computers in Human Behavior. 

Research impact

I have disseminated my research findings at international conferences i.e., ECCWS (UK 2020), IEOM (Italy 2021), EURAM (Canada 2021), and EURAM (Switzerland 2022). My research also received funding through IGA (Internal Grant Agency) Tomas Bata University in Zlin. I led this research project and carried research on the topic of "Industry 4.0- development of big data driven business concepts oriented on lean management transfer role and SME's implementation model".
