Role

Sandra is the Data Administrator for the Arcadia funded Endangered Wooden Architecture Programme (EWAP). The grant giving programme aims to document endangered wooden building traditions and preserve the record long term. Sandra's main role involves developing the Arches database, an open-source data management platform, while working with grantees to format and upload survey data generated as part of the grant.

Sandra’s background is in data management and software design and development, specializing in SQL, VB and VBA.  Before joining EWAP, Sandra owned and operated a computer consulting firm in the USA for over 25 years. She also has a keen interest in both architecture and conservation, having purchased and renovated a 200-year-old building with her husband in a historic preservation district that had been abandoned for over a decade.
