Role

I am a nurse by background and have worked largely in cancer nursing. I have worked at Oxford Brookes both as a Lecturer Practitioner and a Senior Lecturer. I teache on the Professional Doctorate in Nursing and Midwifery. I also supervises PhD and Professional Doctorate students.

I completed my doctorate with the University of Southampton with a thesis entitled: Beyond Reflection: A Study of Contemporary Nursing Practice. I am co-editor of Reflective Practice in Nursing published by Wiley Blackwell.

I am co-chair of OxPINTS (Oxford Philosophy Informing Nursing Theory) and a member of Phi Mu Chapter of Sigma.
