Dr Tim Sayer

My research focuses on public law, with a focus on judicial approaches to questions of public policy. My doctoral research examined the ways in which the UK Supreme Court's approaches to administrative law doctrine and statutory interpretation in public law cases incorporates consideration of effective governance and good policy-making. I have been working in this area since then, and published a number of articles on the topic.
