Role

Victoria teaches a range of undergraduate modules in Early Childhood Studies and Education Studies, and has taught and supervised students taking the MA Education (Childhood and Youth). Before joining Oxford Brookes, she was a primary school teacher and literacy coordinator in London and Oxfordshire.

Victoria is currently completing an ESRC-funded PhD (awarded by the UBEL doctoral training pathway) at the Thomas Coram Institute at the Institute of Education (UCL), researching the experiences of solo mothers in the first three years of their children's lives.

Before joining Oxford Brookes, Victoria was a primary school teacher and literacy co-ordinator, working in Camden and Southwark in London and then in Oxfordshire.
