Dr Yuncong Liu

Dr. Yuncong Liu is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Oxford School of Nursing and Midwifery, Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, working on the project ‘Doctoral and Academic Writing for Novice Researchers’ led by Dr. Marion Waite.

She holds a PhD from the Department of Education, Practice and Society at UCL Institute of Education. Her doctoral research focused on the impact of the Medium of Instruction (MOI) on student opportunity to learn in Tanzanian secondary schools, employing a mixed-methods approach of interviews, surveys, and classroom observations.

Dr. Yuncong Liu’s broader research interests span international education development, social justice and public health. She also has extensive patient and public involvement and engagement (PPIE) experience.
