“The focus is not only on theoretical knowledge, but also on practical understanding and applying concepts in real life situations which makes learning more engaging and useful for my future career.”

“The support while settling into life at Oxford Brookes has been very helpful.”

The University has several student communities and groups that organise different activities to help students connect with each other. Since most students are new and come from different places, these communities make it easier to meet people and feel comfortable in a new environment. Overall, these initiatives have helped me adjust well to life at Oxford Brookes.

“Oxford offers a peaceful atmosphere with many opportunities to learn and explore.”

I love that there is always something to discover from the city’s rich culture and historic museums to its beautiful surroundings. Studying at Oxford Brookes has been an excellent experience as it combines a strong academic environment with a friendly and supportive community. Outside of my studies, I enjoy participating in university events and activities with my friends, exploring nearby towns, walking through the countryside and discovering local cafes or cultural spots to relax.

“My academic advisor is very enthusiastic and supportive.”

During some personal challenges at the start of my course, he called me for an online meeting and reassured me that there was no need to worry. He told me that everyone was there to help me and that I would receive support with my assignments. His kind words really calmed me in that situation, as I had arrived late and the classes had already started.

“I really enjoy the modules in my course.”

I really liked the Brand and Marketing Communications module. I had the opportunity to work on a real live client project which was a completely new experience for me. I learned about Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC), how to plan effective strategies for a brand and many other important concepts. It also helped me understand how brands build strong relationships with their customers and position themselves in competitive markets. It gave hands-on experience that I can directly apply in the future, improving my ability to work on client projects, manage marketing campaigns and think strategically for brand growth.

“The course content is closely connected to real world industry practices.”

This has given me a better understanding of how the knowledge I gain can be applied in a professional setting. Guest lectures, case studies and practical tasks in seminars have also provided valuable insight into current industry trends and expectations. Each assignment requires research using different sources such as Mintel, Statista, IBISWorld and others, which are accessible to students. This has helped me develop strong research skills and learn how to work effectively in a professional environment which will be really helpful for my future career.

“I aspire to build a dynamic and impactful career in the field of marketing and brand management.”

I aim to do this by designing and implementing creative, data driven marketing strategies that drive brand growth, strengthen customer engagement and deliver measurable business value. I am also keen to gain international exposure by working in diverse and global environments which will enable me to understand different markets, cultures and consumer behaviours while broadening my global marketing perspective and contributing to brands that operate on an international scale.
