Research topic

In her doctoral study, Monica is particularly interested in understanding the practitioners’ views and experiences on the topic, based on their direct work with neglected children and their families or suspected child neglect. It is the aim of the study to further our knowledge and understanding in relation to the use of tools and chronologies in child neglect assessment work, and through that, contribute to the development of improved neglect practice guidelines, tools and interventions that would benefit both the children and families accessing support or protection and the frontline practitioners delivering such services.
