I’m a module assistant and student partner at the university, as well as a team lead for Wiser Academy outside of the university. Through these experiences, I’ve gained the skills that are transferable to the professional world.

My biggest challenge has been time management and dealing with the emotional side of being at university. I’ve learned to plan my time effectively, this helps me avoid stress during busier periods as I feel more prepared. Emotionally, I have struggled being away from home and making the most of my time here. I take it one day at a time by prioritizing self care through a healthy diet, exercise and mindful exercises.

I do not feel ready to stop my education journey now and I want to take advantage of the time I have. Aside from this I want to get into the financial industry by securing a summer internship with an ethical company that will help me grow as an individual. My goal for my final year is to engage in activities that will help me develop further.
