One of the best things about my course is that every module makes the most out of being in Oxford, and so close to London. We use the Ashmolean Modern Art a lot, and we often go to London to see exhibitions.

I would say to any new students, don’t be shy about going to your tutors for advice - they are such a valuable resource, and they genuinely want to help.

Oxford is an incredible city. When I walk down the High Street, I can pop through one of the street entrances and just find myself in a 15th Century quad. In your final year, you get your Bodleian reader’s card, and you can study in the various Oxford libraries. I used them when I was writing my dissertation, and it was wonderful.
When I started my degree, I never imagined doing postgraduate study. But I loved my degree at Oxford Brookes so much that I’m doing a master’s.
