“I felt Oxford Brookes was the right place for me, as it stood apart in terms of academic achievements with global recognition, and had a good ranking compared to other universities”

The surprising factor was getting hands-on experience with peers on the first day, as it was so unexpected!”

The academic environment suited me well, as having in-person classes and practicals meant there was an equal opportunity to learn theory and apply it in practice. The course modules at Oxford Brookes focus on developing the skills relevant to employability and UK industry standards.

“Oxford Brookes has supported my learning through various ways.”

This includes simulations, placements, visiting Reading Hospital and registrations with Health and Care Professionals Council and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. This gives an opportunity to be involved with UK practice which is  aligned to the NHS (and internationally recognised).

At this stage, I believe that actual practice within the UK would enable me to take a bigger leap in the international setting to showcase my potential, backed up by my exposure and experience from an elite institution.

“Living and studying in Oxford as an international student is a dream come true!”

Given the number of things to explore in the city centre itself and the places around, it's full of life and provides a well-balanced environment to study and be entertained. I received an international scholarship prior to the start of my course and it enabled me to cover my additional costs effectively such as travelling and accomodation.
