One of the best resources that Oxford Brookes has to offer are the people. I’ve developed amazing relationships with the staff on my course.
‘A very attractive offer’
I study French, Spanish and International Relations. Being able to study two languages and a chosen pathway (International Relations) is a very attractive offer. Other universities only offered one language.
I worked at the University of Barcelona on my placement year. This was excellent for my Spanish and French. I was speaking to French students on a daily basis. Working alongside senior staff members was also excellent work experience.

Oxford is an amazing place to live. It has so much to offer, and there’s so many different cultures mixing here. It’s one of the best student cities in the world.
The library at Oxford Brookes is great. On campus there’s a really good mix of quiet and social spaces. I like to read, see friends and go to the gym.
Studying Applied Languages has given me great academic grounding. I’m now pursuing a master’s degree in International Relations.
