Thailand, Pre-sessional English followed by MSc International Hospitality, Events and Tourism Management

“Pre-sessional English helped me with my listening and speech skills. The teachers especially helped with that - they were patient and helped me prepare for my next step”

It was tough for me to speak English all the time; pre-sessional English helped me with my listening and speech skills. The teachers especially helped with that, they were patient and helped me prepare for my next step. They made sure to give us the practical skills to learning English and gave me lots of advice from academic life to my social life.

I wanted to come to Oxford Brookes because it is famous for their hospitality and tourism management course. It is the best option for me.

On my English course I met a lot of international friends who helped each other improve our English.

The International Student Advice Team have been practically helpful when it comes to my visa issues. The staff are really friendly and give me great information.

Oxford is a great city to live in, especially as a student. It is not that big but not too small, the international culture is great. Oxford is very useful for students; we have lots of facilities like a shopping mall, museums and many restaurants and bars. We have been on trips all around Oxford, to Christchurch, museums and we even went punting. It was great.

One benefit about studying here is you have access to Europe! I have travelled to Spain, France and the Netherlands.

I also love the university's free buses - they're the best thing!
