Training will put a spotlight on why external research funding is important, with a focus on university processes. It will cover finding funding opportunities, costing, impact and peer support for the grant application process.
The expert panel will comprise academics with a track record of successfully securing research grants and managing rejection, and a Faculty Research Grants Officer who can offer key advice on processes, timescales and support.
Target audience: This University Research & KE training session is mandatory for all new research-active staff, as part of the First Three Years EXPLORE@Brookes programme. It is also open as a refresher to all established researchers.
