Graduation for ACCA students

ACCA and Oxford Brookes University have worked together to develop a BSc (Hons) Degree in Applied Accounting programme, which is available exclusively to ACCA students who wish to obtain a degree while studying towards the ACCA qualification.

Once students have completed the degree, they are invited to a regional graduation ceremony based on where they are located. We offer graduation ceremonies in Oxford, Dubai and Malaysia.

As we approach the closing of the programme in 2026, we anticipate that the next annual ceremonies, subject to change, will take place as per below: 

  • Dubai, UAE - Saturday 25 April 2026 at the Al Habtoor Grand Resort, Dubai Marina.  

    The next and last opportunities will be in 2027 (date and venue to be confirmed).

  • Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – The next and last opportunity in Malaysia will be in 2027 (date and venue to be confirmed). There will be no ceremony in 2026. 

  • Oxford, UK – 22 May 2026, 3 September 2026, 2027 (dates to be confirmed).

The 2027 ceremonies will be the final ones. We recommend you make sure to use one of the above opportunities as we won’t be able to offer any further invite to any location once the final ceremonies are delivered. 

Eligible graduates will receive an email invite to their allocated ceremony in due course.

Eligibility to attend the Oxford ceremony

Please be aware that it is difficult for us to add a graduate to the UK ceremony, due to limited places and to frequent visa issues.

Places at our UK ceremonies are limited due to the hall capacity and we must keep numbers under strict control so we can allow graduates who currently live in the UK or Europe to attend the ceremony.

We always have a high number of graduates from various countries asking to attend our UK ceremonies but unfortunately the transfer is not possible unless you meet one of the below criteria:

  • a British passport
  • a visa for the UK
  • you have recently studied or worked in the UK
  • you have recently held a UK visa
  • you have relocated in Europe/US/Canada and can provide a proof of address.

You can apply for a transfer by emailing the ACCA Graduation Office (accagraduation@brookes.ac.uk) after you have received your official invite to the allocated ceremony. We will require you to send evidence of the criteria before confirming the transfer.
