Students enrolled at Level 4 of an undergraduate programme can take a language module as part of their programme as an optional module (if their programme permits), or in addition to their programme as a 9th module. Level 5 and 6 undergraduate students can take a language module as an additional 9th module. All free language module registrations are subject to availability.
Continuing students: to register your interest in the module, you will need to complete an M99AEL form. If you need help with this, please see your Student Support Coordinator. You can do this from Monday 25 April until Friday 30 May.
Once your enrolment has been processed, you will be able to view the module on your 'My Records and Results' page on Student Information.
The final deadline for free language enrolment during the April/May module registration window is 16:00 on Friday 20 May 2022.
Important: You won't be able to amend or delete the free language module on your programme after Friday week 2 (7 October 2022). This is the absolute deadline and no requests to drop a module or change level will be considered after this deadline. As these are fully assessed level 4 undergraduate modules, they will contribute to an undergraduate student's Grade Point Average (GPA). For more information on the GPA scheme, please click here.
*Please note some exclusions apply, for example courses with a compulsory placement component, distance learning courses, or courses studied at one of our partner institutions. If you are unsure please contact your SSC.
