Biomedical Science underpins our understanding of human health and disease. This includes understanding what causes diseases and their symptoms, and how that knowledge is being applied to the detection, diagnosis, management, treatment and even prevention of disease.

The degree offers the opportunity to study the function of the human body in health and disease at molecular, cellular and physiological levels.
