We know that employers often look at your work experience for evidence of your skills and abilities, but how do you apply for jobs if you don’t have much or any experience? This workshop will help you identify ways you can develop skills throughout your university experience and in other areas of your life. Writing Applications that work

Learning how to market yourself in writing is an essential step towards gaining that all-important interview and then the job itself. Many employers, particularly large organisations, ask candidates to complete an online application form.

In this workshop, you will learn:

  • How to write a winning personal statement as part of your application

There is a growing demand for jobs related to environmental sustainability, both from job seekers and from employers. Interviews Unwrapped

Unsure about what to expect from an interview? This session will help you to consider interview practicalities (whether these are face-to-face or live or pre-recorded video interviews). We'll look at how to anticipate likely interview questions, give effective responses and build your confidence. We will provide insights into different types of questions such as competency/motivational and will suggest strategies on how to tackle them. The session will help you showcase your strengths and abilities.
