Is there an emergency?

If someone is in danger or a crime is being committed, phone 999 to contact police, ambulance or fire services.

If you are on or around campus and need immediate assistance, contact Oxford Brookes Security Services via its new number of 01865 60 3060. 

Members of the Oxford Brookes community are encouraged to save this number to their phone, in case you ever need to phone Security urgently. 

If emergency services have been called to Oxford Brookes premises, contact Security Services on 01865 60 3060 and explain your location so that they can direct the emergency crew when they arrive.

Oxford Safe Haven

Safe space and support for those in a mental health crisis.

Phone support Mon-Fri 12.00-9.00pm, Sat-Sun 5.00pm-9.00pm. 

In-person support daily 6.00pm-9.00pm, referrals open from 5.00pm. You must call before attending.

CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) 

Free and confidential helpline for anyone who needs to talk through life's problems.

Open 5.00pm - midnight.

Papyrus

Confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide.

Open Monday to Sunday 9.00am - midnight.

Togetherall

Students can access support 24 hours a day and 365 days of the year with Togetherall. You can join a supportive online community where interactions are anonymous, take part in courses and use other wellbeing tools.

Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC)

SARCs provide dedicated support to victims of rape or sexual assault, including providing a confidential space for interviews, examinations and collecting evidence. Some may also offer counselling services.
