Join us on Sunday 10th September, 11am-1pm, for Oxford Open Doors 2023, which will provide the public with the opportunity to find out more about our campus, sustainability at Brookes, and how we engage with the local community. The event is free and open to all, and will take place in the Clerici building, just inside the main entrance doors.

Sustainability at Brookes site tours
We will be offering two tours (11am and 12noon) around our Headington site.
The tour will take just under an hour, and we will be discussing our holistic approach to sustainability, our decarbonisation, biodiversity, waste, water, sustainable food, procurement, transport and new build strategies to deliver our vision.  It will include a tour of the site discussing design features and showcasing different projects, and end up in the energy centre where we will be discussing our recent geothermal project and its integration into the John Henry Brookes Building.

Community Engagement Team
Meet our community engagement team, hear more about what they do, and learn how they work with local residents.

Campus Tours
A chance to tour our campus and see the facilities that are on offer to both students and the local community.

Simulation ambulance
A chance to look around our simulation ambulance, which is designed for student paramedics, nurses and midwives to experience life-like emergency and urgent care scenarios.

Brookes Sport
Our first floor gym will be free of charge for the day - visitors must be over 16 years of age and read the Health Commitment Statement at the reception desk when signing into the Gym. There will also be badminton and shoot-a-hoop basketball from 11:00-14:00 in the Sports Hall, situated on the ground floor.
