Stay Safe - Wheatley

Come and find out how you can protect yourself and your belongings. Pick up free goodies, play games and learn more about the partnership work taking place to keep Oxford safe.

Safety stand in the Forum at Oxford Brookes University

This Stay Safe event brings together initiatives from across the University and external partners that are in place to help keep you and your valuables safe.

You will be able to talk to representatives from Security and the Community Engagement teams and find out more about:
- NightSafe Oxford network which launched last year to help keep people safe at night.
- Hollie Guard, an app that provides enhanced levels of protection and is a personal alarm, deterrent, evidence catcher and more.
- Oxford City Angels, a voluntary service of individuals trained to support the safety and security of women during a night out

You can learn more about these interventions, how you can use the various tools and systems to protect yourself and your belongings, and much more.

We want to hear your views and you will be able to provide comments on what you think about Oxford as a safe city.

Come along, play a game and take a free gift or two!
