Science Bazaar 2026

Explore science in action at the Oxford Brookes Science Bazaar with hands-on experiments, workshops, and live shows for all ages!

Join us for a fun-filled day of science, creativity, and discovery at the Oxford Brookes Science Bazaar! This free event is perfect for children aged 5–12 and their families, offering a chance to explore science in a hands-on and exciting way.

There’s something for everyone - from fascinating experiments and creative workshops to amazing live shows and demonstrations. You can meet real scientists, engineers, and students, ask questions, and try things out for yourself. Whether you love technology, nature, health, or art, you’ll find plenty to explore and enjoy.

The Science Bazaar is all about learning through play and curiosity. You might build something, make something fizz or pop, or discover how the world around us works. Every activity is designed to be fun, friendly, and inspiring - the perfect way to spark young imaginations and get everyone thinking like a scientist.

We want everyone to feel welcome at the Science Bazaar. There’s a special autism-friendly early session from 9:30–11:30am for families who prefer a quieter, more relaxed environment. The main event runs from 11:30am–4:00pm, and admission is completely free, so you can stay for as long as you like and enjoy the day at your own pace.

The 2026 Science Bazaar is proudly supported by Morgan Sindall Construction and many other local partners who help make this inspiring event possible. Their support means we can offer exciting workshops, demonstrations, and free resources for families to take home and keep exploring science together.

The Science Bazaar isn’t just a one day event - it’s a celebration of curiosity that continues long after you leave. You’ll go home with ideas, experiments, and stories to share, and maybe even some inspiration for what you’d like to learn next.

Come along to the Oxford Brookes Science Bazaar 2026 for a day of creativity, discovery, and fun. It’s science made exciting - for everyone!
