The practice based learning team overseeing Oxford Brookes Physiotherapy Clinic include Dr Jon Room, Katy Baines and Jo Pierce. The registered physiotherapists working in the clinic include Dr Daniel Garnett and Ella Sissons.
Dr Daniel Garnett is an experienced Sports Physiotherapist in multiple sports codes with a PhD focused on concussion injury prevention and a postgraduate Masters degree in Exercise and Sports Physiotherapy from the University of Cape Town. He is registered with the HCPC and CSP and is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK) with over 20 years of clinical and academic experience.
Ella Sissons is a Chartered Sports Physiotherapist with HCPC and CSP registration and is the Lead Sports Physiotherapist for Brookes Sport. She has extensive experience in sports settings, including working with England Boxing and as the Head of Medical for Oxford Harlequins. Ella has a BSc in Sports and Exercise Science, an MSc in Physiotherapy and is currently studying an MSc Sports Physiotherapy.
Belle is a Chartered Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with HCPC, CSP and AACP registrations. Belle has a broad experience working within sport such as working as the First Team Physiotherapist for Oxford Harlequins Rugby Club as well as being the Lead Physiotherapist for the USA Mixed Open Touch Rugby Team at the recent World Cup. Belle is also a keen sportswoman, having completed an Ironman and showjumping Internationally.
