Founded in 1979 by the Beijing Foreign Studies University, the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press (FLTRP) has since grown into a renowned foreign languages publisher and university press in China.

FLTRP started as a language education publisher and has expanded into more subjects and more areas. With a special strength in languages and a deep understanding of Chinese and other world cultures, FLTRP is well positioned to facilitate Chinese language teaching and learning, and to tell Chinese stories to the world. FLTRP regularly licenses fine works from overseas, and actively cooperates with international partners in developing new products for the global market.

Oxford International Centre for Publishing (OICP)

The Oxford International Centre for Publishing Studies is one of the leading centres for publishing education in the world, with a reputation for innovation and excellence in teaching and research. The Centre offers postgraduate and undergraduate awards in book, magazine and digital publishing, carries out academic research, and provides training and consultancy services. We have excellent relationships with publishers and trade organizations, and our alumni are working throughout the industry.

Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU)

Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) is one of China’s top universities with distinctive features of its own, ranking among the first cohort of 100 national universities selected for priority development in the 21st century. Established in 1941, BFSU has grown from an institute specializing in foreign languages and literature to a university with a balanced development in a multitude of disciplines in arts, humanities, and social sciences. Today, BFSU teaches 101 foreign languages, more than any other Chinese universities. It is the first in China to offer courses in some less commonly taught European, Asian and African languages. The university’s strategy for academic development is to make full use of its unique character and unparalleled advantage of having a large number of foreign language programmes and at the same time to develop humanities, social sciences and inter-disciplines.
