Role
I am committed to advancing excellence in healthcare education through simulation and technology enhanced learning across the Faculty of Health, Science and Technology. My work focuses on how Simulation-Based Education supports learning, reflection, and the development of individuals and teams to deliver safe, effective simulation based activities.
In collaboration with programme teams I aim to support them to design meaningful simulation-based learning experiences and explore innovative technologies that enhance educational delivery. I am particularly passionate about helping teams to collaborate internally and externally to co-create engaging, authentic safe learning environments that bridge theory and practice.
As a Registered Nurse and Registered Sick Children’s Nurse with a background in Neonatal Intensive Care, I bring extensive experience from clinical, educational, and leadership roles in the UK and Canada. I am dedicated to supporting faculty and the wider simulation community to continually develop their educational practice and confidence in using simulation and immersive technology for transformative learning.
