Simulation Based Education Facilitators Course - An Introduction

About the course

Our aim is to equip participants with the skills needed to teach others effectively using simulation-based education, and to proficiently utilise a range of simulation modalities, including simulated participants.

The course is delivered face to face, over 2 days giving an introduction to simulation based education, with the intention of providing a brief introduction to the underlying theory, the stages of scenario design and development using a template, and addresses the key elements of pre-briefing, psychological safety and debriefing. The course provides the opportunity to take part in delivering a simulation and then undertaking a debrief.
