As Associate Professor of Allied Health and Programme Director within the School of Psychology, Social Work and Public Health, Martin provides strategic leadership over the academic integrity and delivery of health-related curriculum. They ensure that programmes meet the rigorous demands of modern professional practice, bridging the gap between theoretical research and multidisciplinary clinical application. Their work is focused on fostering a high-quality student experience that prepares the next generation of practitioners to navigate the complexities of the health and social care sectors with evidence-based expertise.

In addition to their directorial responsibilities, Martin serves as the Faculty Interprofessional Education (IPE) Lead. In this capacity, they champion a collaborative approach to learning, bringing together diverse disciplines from across the School to mirror the integrated reality of modern healthcare.
