Yang Han

Role

Yang joined the Business School in 2023 as a lecturer. His research focuses on organisational psychology and behavioural aspects of HRM, particularly how interactions between leaders and employees affect workplace behaviour, wellbeing, and performance. Yang teaches across a range of HRM and organisational behaviour modules. He received his PhD from the University of Essex.

Supervision

Yang supervises postgraduate research projects in the areas of HRM and organisational behaviour. He welcomes PhD supervision inquiries from students interested in quantitative research methods, leader–employee dynamics, and employee wellbeing.

Research

Yang’s research focuses on organisational psychology and behavioural aspects of Human Resource Management (HRM). His work explores how leadership behaviours, relational dynamics, and workplace conditions influence employee motivation, and performance. Yang adopts quantitative research methods, including survey design, structural equation modelling (SEM), and meta-analysis.
