Research

Yang's research interests fall in the category of organisational psychology and behaviour. His research focuses on understanding ambivalent leader-follower relationships and their effect on follower experiences and outcomes in the workplace. Furthermore, he focuses on the theoretical links between relationship perceptions and attitudes. 

Research impact

He has developed and tested models for how organisations can implement organisational interventions that aim to promote employee well-being and creativity.
