Research topic

My research focuses on exploring students’ expectations, experiences and engagement with specialist mentoring across their time at university. I am also examining mentors’ experiences and their views on what support is helpful and what is less effective.

I aim to identify the key components of specialist mentoring to support student wellbeing and academic success, with the goal of improving services and promoting inclusivity throughout university.

When I am not undertaking my research, I enjoy running and cycling to stay active and clear my mind. I also keep pet chickens because they are wonderful.

Further information regarding my research project can be found on the project’s mini-website.
