Domestic and Transnational Migration

This lecture will focus on migration within India and migration from India to the Gulf.

It will consider the interlocking relations between domestic and transnational migration, the role played by migration regimes and the subjective experiences of labour migrants themselves.

The lecture will be given by Dr Thomas Chambers, Senior Lecturer in Anthropology at Oxford Brookes University. This talk is part of the annual Dialogue in Migration and Refugee Studies organised by MRN and is free and open to all to attend.
