Would you like to hear about the career journeys of researchers who have effectively navigated the transition from PhD or fixed-term contract, to careers both within and beyond academia? Look no further. The biennial Researcher Career Pathways Event is back!
There will be three Q&A panels, comprising researchers who have gone on to have successful and fulfilling careers in both academic and non-academic professions, within and beyond academia. We'll be quizzing the panels on the key decisions they made in their careers so far, where following their passions has taken them, what they do to maintain that all-important work-life balance and what advice they have for other researchers planning their own careers.
Format
- 3 hour online workshop (with breaks)
