Do you have strategic responsibility for teaching and learning? If you are considering joining the programme (and starting your application), you can do so at any time by following the steps on the PSF Pathway webpage. If you would like more information before doing so, please attend an SFHEA briefing. The next one will take place in May 2023 (further information will follow here shortly).
If you have already joined but need the time and some support to make progress on your application, you are warmly invited to attend our workshops and writing retreats. The mornings are tailored to the stage you are at with your application. The afternoons provide protected writing time (with support available). Therefore, you can select to attend multiple afternoons as appropriate. These will take place online with the next ones taking place in June 2023 (further information will follow here shortly).
By achieving Senior Fellowship of Advance HE, you will gain recognition of the value you bring to your professional practice and demonstrate a sustained record of effectiveness in relation to higher education teaching and learning. This can incorporate, for example, the organisation, leadership and/or management of learning and teaching provision. Furthermore, gaining SFHEA is a key criterion in applying for promotion to Principal Lecturer for the Student Experience and acts as a proxy measure of teaching quality in the TEF.
Any questions? Please ask the PSF Pathway Co-ordinator, Ben Walker - bwalker@brookes.ac.uk.
