Apply for a Double Honours Degree with Business Management
If you’re a final-year undergraduate student expecting to finish this summer, you could apply to stay on for an extra year of study with Oxford Brookes Business School.
You’ll graduate from Oxford Brookes with a Double Honours Degree in your existing subject and Business Management.It’s an opportunity to improve your CV and learn about the world of business. Subject to approval by the University’s Academic Board, 50 places will be available for the 2025 to 2026 academic year, and the initial deadline for expressing your interest is Friday 10 January.

How could this benefit me?

You’ll learn about business and management and boost your skills, experience and employability through a set of targeted modules designed with your stage of development in mind.What will the additional fourth year of study involve?
Adding a fourth year of your degree will give you the opportunity to study a range of different areas in business and management. This will include topics such as strategic management, entrepreneurial business management, responsible marketing management, leading and managing change, environmentally sustainable business, and managing careers. At the end you will graduate with a Double Honours Degree in your existing subject and Business Management (instead of graduating this year in your existing subject).Am I eligible?
This opportunity is for final-year undergraduate students on a wide range of programmes. There may be some restrictions if your programme has professional or regulatory body requirements. The Double Honours with Business Management option is not available if your undergraduate degree is with Oxford Brookes Business School.To be eligible for the Double Honours programme:
- students must be on a programme that has no professional or regulatory body requirements preventing registration on the Double Honours Degree programme (we will follow up to discuss this with you by the end of January)
- students will be required to achieve a 2.2 or above on their current programme of study
- students must not already have a degree.
How much will this extra year of study cost? And how can I fund it?
Fees will be in line with UK government guidelines on undergraduate fees and inflation. Provided you have not used your extra year of funding (eg for a repeat year of study), and you are prepared to graduate at the end of your additional year of study, you may be entitled to a student loan. There may be some restrictions in programmes where there is a professional or regulatory body requirement. We will be able to answer any questions about fees and funding when we follow up on your expression of interest.Register your interest in a Double Honours Degree with Business Management by Friday 10 January.
