You can report an incident online with your contact details or anonymously. If you provide your contact details, the Student Welfare Team will contact you within 3 working days.

Report with contact details

The Student Welfare Team are here to support all enrolled Brookes students.

After you report an incident online using this form, one of the Student Welfare Team will contact you within three working days. They will discuss your ongoing support and your options for onward formal reporting (eg to the police or through the University conduct procedure). We will offer you support whatever you decide to do.

Report anonymously

We understand that you may not wish to disclose your identity. If you choose to report an incident anonymously:

  • We will not be able to offer direct advice or investigate a matter reported anonymously.
  • We will not ask you for any personally identifiable details.

Anonymous reports provide statistical information, which will be used to inform our preventative work on tackling harassment, hate crime and unwanted sexual conduct & sexual assault.

Confidentiality

The information you provide in your report will remain confidential and will be used to monitor issues across the University. Confidentiality will only be broken if you give us your express permission to, or if you've given us relevant information and we're concerned about your or somebody else's safety.
