Storytelling is a useful skill for researchers to place their work in a wider context, in a way that is both compelling and engaging. It can be used in many academic contexts, such as writing papers, presenting, pitching and applying for funding. This session will cover the main formats of storytelling: video and photography, written, and verbal, exploring how to build a strong narrative in each case.
