Below a list of frequently asked questions about the Multifaith Chaplaincy. If you can't find the information you need, please contact us on email@example.com.
Is the Multifaith Chaplaincy only for religious people?
Not at all! All of our events are open to everyone, including the religious services. A lot of our events have no religious or spiritual content at all. If you are curious, please come along.
What do I do if I experience harassment because of my religion?
We hope you will have a good experience in Oxford and at university, but if you experience any form of harassment or hate crime, please visit the Report and Support website and let us know about your experience.
You do not have to give your name but the information helps us to understand what is happening on campus and around Oxford. You can also contact any of the Chaplains for support.
What do I do if I can’t sit an exam because of a religious observance?
If your exams this semester will be affected by your religious observance, please let the Examinations Team know before Week 3. They will ask for a letter from a leader in your faith community to confirm your needs.
Will you pray for me?
How do I join the Chaplaincy team?
Why is my faith not represented by a Chaplain or Faith Community Contact?
We work closely with local faith communities to try to ensure that everyone at Brookes can find the support they need with their religious and spiritual life, but there are still gaps in our provision.
