After the exam dates have been confirmed, can I cancel or change students?
Once confirmed examination dates cannot be cancelled or changed, nor are any exam fees refundable.
If I have more students who want to take the exam, can we add the candidates after the registration form has been sent to email@example.com?
If the exam is more than 30 days away, student registration can be amended. We cannot add or remove any student names less than 30 working days from the scheduled examination date.
We encourage schools to complete their exam registration before returning the forms to our office to avoid any issues. Please note, if you have a candidate that did not register in time due to a special emergency circumstance please let us know to determine if we can include their name. A late registration fee will be changed in these instances.
If the student doesn’t have a passport, any other document could be used?
A student card or an identity card also can be used for the registration. On the day of the exam, a teacher from the school will be needed to assist the invigilators in checking the students’ ID documents.
How to do we pay the examination fees?
Payment can be made individually or as a group through our Oxford Brookes University e-shop. If you would prefer to pay as an institution, please provide us with a complete name, email address and postal address so we may issue an invoice.
Do you offer mock exams?
We are happy to provide a mock exam prior to the official exam date. This will be arranged through our teachers and a confirmation will be sent to your school.
What adjustments are available for students with special requirements?
Adjustments are available on case-by-case basis and should be raised with the HSK coordinator at the time of enquiry or registration. All adjustments must be discussed with the examination board to arrange the best support for students sitting the exam.
How do students receive their scores and certificates?
Scores are available online 30-35 working days after the examination date. Students will require their admission ticket number to check these individually. Certificates arrive 40-45 working days from examination date. These may be collected from our office in Headington or can be posted to your school for £15, postage is signed and tracked.
A student’s certificate has become lost or damaged, can we order a replacement?
The official HSK/HSKK/YCT examination board does not issue duplicate certificates. It is the students responsibility to ensure their certificate’s condition.
