CENDEP partnering in new research on electoral reforms in Sri Lanka

A coalition including CENDEP has been awarded a grant by the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights for a 2 year project on minorities and electoral reform in Sri Lanka.

Minority Rights Group International will be the lead UK partner together with the Eastern Social Development Foundation (ESDF), Sri Lanka Development Journalist Forum (SDJF) and Human Development Organisation (HDO). CENDEP will be responsible for the research work under the project which includes one report on minorities within the electoral process and a second on participatory research on minority women's political participation in Sri Lanka.
