CECD provides training and consultancy services for educational organisations on an international scale, with programmes hosted in the UK and in-country.
We have the capacity to design extensive programmes of training for teachers, hosted in the UK, as well one-off training events either in the UK or in-country. The School of Education has developed over 600 well-established partnerships in education from the early years, primary, secondary and post-compulsory sectors on a national and international scale.
Together we are a strong community of practitioners and researchers who aim to be agents of change, improving global educational practice for future generations.
We work with our international partners to create flexible and bespoke training programmes, designed by experts and practitioners to suit global educational objectives.
The School of Education at Oxford Brookes University (OBU) has been contracted by the Ministry of Education of Saudi Arabia to provide a 12-month tailored programme of continuing professional development for qualified Saudi teachers visiting the UK (both primary and secondary). This is a flagship national programme aimed at advancing change in the Saudi education system, drawing on best practice from UK schools. The programme focuses on the development of innovative, creative professional practice through school immersion in partner schools.
CECD collaborated with Fu Yuan International School to create a bespoke programme of intensive CPD focusing on whole-school strategies for developing best practice in international school education. This programme included sessions on best practice in the UK education system, leadership and management, student-centred learning, behaviour management, school ethos, and subject-specific seminars and workshops.
We have also worked with several other international clients.
