Electronic submission of research grants

This page is for Oxford Brookes University staff. Its purpose is to explain internal processes to staff members. It was moved into its current location on the website in Autumn 2022.

All grant applications to AHRC, BBSRC, EPSRC, ESRC, MRC, NERC, STFC, are submitted through the Joint Electronic Submission system (Je-S).

Registered users will have been issued with a password and user ID by the research councils which will allow them to access JeS-1.

If you are not already registered, this can be do via the login page  - click on "Create Account". Follow the steps as they are laid out and you will be issued with a password and ID. Information on which browsers the system will work with can also be obtained from this initial login page.

Approval of any electronic bid is the same as it is for a paper bid, please ensure that you have complied with the systems currently in operation in your Faculty.
