Warneford Hall is just a 10-minute walk from the Headington Campus and is on the edge of the popular student area, Cowley Road.

You’re close to both the campus and all the best spots for socialising.

All halls are self-catered with each flat having its own shared kitchen for you to cook your own meals.

Warneford offers some adapted rooms with en suite bathrooms, for students with disabilities and/or medical conditions.

Contracts in A block (for current students only) will run for 38 weeks from Saturday 20 September 2025 to Friday 12 June 2026.

Note: Single-semester (semester 1) contracts for incoming exchange students run from Saturday 13 September 2025 until Monday 22 December 2025.

Single-semester (semester 2) contracts for incoming exchange students run from Saturday 17 January 2025 until Friday 5 June 2026.

You'll pay your rent via the Accommodation Portal.

In accordance with Oxford City Council planning regulations, students in University Halls of Residences are not permitted to have a vehicle in the city or at their accommodation.

Room furniture and furnishings

Bed linen is not provided. Bedding, cleaning and kitchen/dining packs for University-managed halls can be pre-ordered through the accommodation portal after accepting your accommodation contract. Find out more on Purchasing Optional Extras.

Note: Adapted rooms are generally larger in size and have en suite bathroom facilities.
