Ahead of the upcoming exam period, we’ve pulled together some great sources of help and advice to support you in doing your best.

Drop-in study skills sessions

The Centre for Academic Development offers drop-in study skills sessions in the Library help zone, Headington Campus between 12 noon and 1.00pm on weekdays, where you can receive advice and support on structuring your time when revising. You can also access the sessions online by submitting an online drop-in request form.

Academic skills workshops

The Centre for Academic Development is hosting a ‘Preparing for Exams’ workshop on Tuesday 25 April from 12 noon to 1.30pm. This session will help you understand how to use active approaches to make your revision effective, overcome exam nerves and use your exam time well.

Group study spaces on campus

Revising in a group can be a fun and motivating way to prepare for exams. If you and a group of friends or coursemates want to study together, you can book a group study space in our libraries.

Self-help resources

If you’re worrying about exams, you can access a range of self-help resources on our Wellbeing webpage, including exam anxiety and time management guides.
