Volunteer to make a difference and boost your CV

Three students talking in the Piazza on Headington Campus.

It’s Student Volunteering Week 2025 from 10 to 16 February - and there are lots of ways you can get involved.

Student Volunteering Week celebrates all the benefits of volunteering as a student, including:
  • improving your wellbeing
  • developing your skills and employability
  • making a positive contribution to community life.
It’s the perfect time to try something new and support a cause you care about. Find opportunities on the Oxford Brookes Volunteer Portal or the University’s volunteering Facebook page

You can also email volunteering@brookes.ac.uk to book an online chat with the team, or visit the volunteering pop-up stand at John Henry Brookes Building reception, Headington Campus, on Fridays between 11.30am and 2.30pm. During semester time, you can meet a range of charities at the pop-up stand and find out about their volunteering opportunities.
