Academic writing lab: Essential study skills for international students (21 September)

New to studying in the UK? Learn to manage independent study and a new academic environment.

This series of workshops explores the assignment writing process in an friendly and open way. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, compare experiences with other students and gain confidence through practice activities. Feel free to join every week or just attend the ones that target your goals.

If you’re new to studying in the UK, welcome! This session will help to orientate you in your new academic culture by exploring how to find critical assessment information about your modules and by discussing the importance of critical thinking in reading and writing.
