Academic writing lab online: Effective paragraphing (11 March)
This session explores how to write paragraphs that are well-focused on your arguments and make effective use of evidence.
Knowing how paragraphs work is essential in ensuring that your ideas are effectively expressed in your writing and that you also make the best possible use of the sources you have consulted. Poor paragraphing can result in really important arguments being hidden among minor details, and can also leave your writing feeling disorganised and not well-focused on the topic. This session will help you reach your paragraphing potential!
We are now using Zoom scheduler to handle bookings on many Think Space events. When you click on the booking link you will be taken to a booking page. Click on the start time of the event and then fill in your details. Confirmation will then be sent to your google calendar and email and you can add a phone number to get a text message reminder. We will not use your phone details for anything except processing this booking.
