Academic Writing Lab: Using Evidence in Your Writing (5 October)

New to writing with sources? Understand how to use evidence in your writing effectively. Includes appropriate AI use guidance.

This series of workshops explores the assignment writing process in an friendly and open way. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, compare experiences with other students and gain confidence through practice activities. Feel free to join every week or just attend the ones that target your goals.

Using reliable sources effectively is vital for persuasive academic writing. In this session we’ll explore why we write with sources, common ways to integrate them into our writing, and we’ll practice critical thinking by connecting sources to arguments.
