Charities and Trusts are an under-utilised source of funding for education, but can be used by both undergraduates and postgraduates to top up their funding by £500–£2,000.
The Alternative Guide to Funding Opportunities provides information on alternative sources of funding - particularly charities – which can make awards in respect of fees, maintenance, and research costs. These funding opportunities can be specified as open to all, or to students by group (e.g. by course or study mode, age, etc.).
Oxford Brookes has signed up with the Guide. The University has no direct involvement in these awards – we provide this data for information purposes only.
Brookes students have full access to the Alternative Guide online.
