Active Tuesdays give Oxford Brookes staff free access to our gym facilities every Tuesday throughout the year.

Whether you're looking to improve your wellbeing, build confidence in the gym or create healthy habits alongside work, Active Tuesdays provide a welcoming and supportive place to get started.

Alongside free gym access, you'll also find support services, gym inductions and Wellness Checks to help you make the most of your experience.

If you're new to the gym, returning after a break or unfamiliar with our facilities, we're here to help.

How to Access Active Tuesdays

Getting started is easy. Follow the steps below to enjoy free gym access every Tuesday:

  1. Ensure you sign up for a Staff Registration, have an existing staff account or hold a staff membership.
  2. On your first Active Tuesday visit, bring your staff ID to reception. Our team will activate your access so you can enjoy free gym entry every Tuesday.
  3. Download the BrookesSport app (iOS or Android).
  4. On Tuesdays, open the app and select "Activity Check-In" on the home screen, then scan the QR code at the gym entrance to access the facilities.

Our Gym Facilities

Our gym spans two floors, with lift access throughout to support accessibility.

Across both floors, you'll find:

  • Free weights and lifting platforms
  • Cardio equipment
  • Resistance machines
  • Functional training space
  • Dedicated stretching and mobility areas

Our friendly team is always available to offer guidance and support during your visit.
