Oxford Brookes Business School has an international reputation for providing innovative teaching as well as strong links with industry. The Business School is committed to student-centered and active teaching methods where teaching means more than the transmission of information.
Every course at the Business School is designed with a focus on your career and delivered by staff who have deep connections with the business world. Features such as work placements, student projects, visiting speakers and industry visits provide you with the best foundation for a successful career.
Oxford Brookes Business School courses are independently assessed by accrediting and professional bodies to ensure they are of the highest quality and relevant to today's global business environment. Our courses are also recognised by many of the major professional bodies, which offer exemptions from their professional exams.
It is an exciting time to join our Business School as we have recently moved to new premises at our Headington Campus. The university has invested £30m to provide a new home for the Business School, including a lecture theatre, teaching rooms, social learning space and a café. This gives you first-class learning spaces close to university facilities, student halls and the city centre.
At Brookes you will meet a wide range of people from different backgrounds and make amazing friends for life. You are able to tailor your course to match your interests and give yourself the best foundation for a rewarding career. You will find a warm welcome at Oxford Brookes and all the support you need to ensure that you achieve your goals.
A big factor that will shape your experience of being a student is the city you study in. Oxford is one of the most famous student cities in the world and for good reason. One in five people here is a student so there is a unique, vibrant atmosphere. It is a bustling and stunning cosmopolitan city with excellent shopping, restaurants, cafés, pubs and clubs and, what’s more, it’s only an hour away from London.
"The lecturers apply real life scenarios to theory. You develop a good balance between theoretical knowledge and practical transferable skills."
