Get help and support

Library staff are always happy to answer your questions about finding resources, referencing and anything else to do with using the library. You can contact us using any of the methods below:

In person help

Library staff are always happy to help you. Both of our libraries have a desk, where you can find a member of the library team.

Check when the libraries are open and when library staff are available.

At Headington Library, you’ll find us on level 1 of the John Henry Brookes Building. Just look for the ‘Library Welcome’ sign, opposite the library lift.

At Swindon, you’ll find us at the main desk in the library.

Live chat

Talk to a real member of library staff via our chat service, wherever you are.

To start a chat, use the ‘click here to chat’ button on the right of this page.

If the button says ‘contact us’, we may be busy helping another person so please try again later.

Email or call the library

Email library@brookes.ac.uk with your questions about the library and our resources.

We aim to reply to emails within one working day.

You can call +44 (0)1865 534700 during staffed hours to speak to a member of the library team.

Book an appointment

You can book an appointment for an in-person meeting with a member of the library team, either on campus or online.

To request an online meeting or an in person meeting at Headington Library, go to our appointment bookings page.

To request an in person meeting at Swindon Library, email library@brookes.ac.uk.
